Jesus Is King! I am just a humble servant striving to show what it means! Listen Below!
A list of frequent common questions asked to Minister Joshua. As more questions are asked we will continue to place them here.
John 8:36 CSB tells us "So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free." How does one become free through salvation you may ask? That is a great question and we have a great answer.
John 3:16 CSB also tells us that "For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
The way to freedom is Jesus. Prior to John 3:16 that we just read above. There was a man named Nicodemus that simply didn't believe in Jesus Christ as the gift of freedom we need. Prior to this moment Nicodemus had his own rules and regulations for living a perfect life. He had his own routines that included his form of worship unto God. However, he was wrong as some of us are even today. We must have Jesus. We can do so many good things in life, but if we don't have the most important Good thing which is Jesus Christ we actually do not have nothing at all.
John 14:6 CSB Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
1. Accept Jesus as your personal savior.
Meaning you accept the salvation that Jesus gave. Even if you don't understand fully how Jesus is the personal savior of the world you must believe. Once you believe Jesus will reveal more things to you up until the day of his return.
2. Believe that Jesus died on the Cross and rose again.
In order to become a believer you have to believe that Jesus died and rose again to free you from the power of sin. It doesn't mean you will never sin again it simply means that you will have power to overcome sin that you may not have the power and ability to overcome on your own. Hence years and years of committing the same sins that make you feel incomplete.
Romans 8:20-23 CSB
20 For the creation was subjected to futility—not willingly, but because of him who subjected it—in the hope
21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.
23"Not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits—we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies."
3. Confess that you are a sinner that needs this salvation that Jesus died to freely give.
1 John 1:9 CSB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Part of believing in Jesus Christ is letting go of the false hope that you have everything under control. Confession shows that you are trusting someone you have never seen but you are confessing your sins out loud to him in the privacy of your car, home, bathroom, prayer closet or anywhere else you are led. Also this is you having a real moment with God through his son who already knows your truth. He is just waiting for you to confess its more than you bargained for and that you need help. Once you admit that you need help. Jesus will help you by granting you repentance. Which is the chance to turn away from those sins you confessed and never commit them again. Now you finally will have the power of the holy spirit to help aide you in doing so!
You are now a member of the body of Christ and your job is to to make more disciples.
Matthew 28:19 CSB tells us "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"
How can one make more disciples you may ask? Its starts with each believer. When Jesus walked the earth showcasing true ministry. Jesus simply said "follow me" to every disciple and they followed. Why did they just leave everything and follow Jesus as Peter did. It was something peculiar about him. Our job is to show how set apart we are.
Not by prejudice but standards. Our standards as believers should be higher than someone who doesn't believe. Meaning with fornication. We shouldn't fornicate because it goes against our commander in chief, Jesus Christ. We shouldn't smoke because we would be smoking Jesus out of our temple. How can Jesus dwell and lead us through his Holy Spirit if we are smoking and doing things that pushes him away.
Sanctification through purification is our goal. We must each reach a new level of deliverance daily but its starts with salvation.
Tough question but there is an answer from the Lord.
God views abortion to be abominable. Which means causing disgust or hatred. I guess you may ask why would a Holy God show hatred, because that is just how Holy God is.
Jeremiah 1:5 CSB tells us "I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations."
I choose to believe the word of God. Each unborn fetus that has been aborted counteracts and goes against the divine plans that God has for that particular child. Before the baby was conceived they were chosen by God for a purpose and its up to him to decide when and how to reveal each of our purpose and the journeys we take until purpose is revealed will help us once we walk in purpose.
I know you may be thinking what if it was due to health etc. Well there is an answer for that as well. I also must say this isnt bashing anyone this is just stating biblical truths and after this we will discuss restoration.
John 9:1-5 details this exact question
1 As he was passing by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” Jesus answered. “This came about so that God’s works might be displayed in him.
God wants all of our glory and he gets that glory through our lives. If God wanted us to abort any babies as humans, mothers wouldn't become pregnant.
So what would God suggest?
-Remain abstinent until marriage.
- Become married prior to conception.
Genesis 4:1 CSB states "The man was intimate with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain. She said, “I have had a male child with the Lord’s help."
-Pray in all things
Philippians 4:6 CSB "Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Restoration:
God will restore you despite what mistake you made. You just must pray and ask for his forgiveness and confess to him that you know it was wrong and you want him to make this right. He will you just must believe! Satan will always try to make you feel you arent forgiven, but if you really confessed your sins! You are free.
1John 1:9 CSB
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We must hate what God hates. God does not hate people, he hate the sins that they are doing and Abortion is one of them. We must pray and seek God for other routes he will approve and guide us through them.
Proverbs 6:16-19 CSB
16 The Lord hates six things; in fact, seven are detestable to him: 17 arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet eager to run to evil, 19 a lying witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up trouble among brothers.
God is a God of love and order. Abortion is something that causes disorder to the divine plan that God has instore for all of his creation.
Jeremiah 1:5 CSB
I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.
This scripture tells us that before we were in the womb of our mother God had a plan for each of our lives. Abortion is an immediate stop to God's holy divine plan. Forgiveness can be yours.
1 John 1:9 CSB
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Whether you were a person who once had an abortion, contributed in any way during the process of an abortion, or someone who has paid for an abortion. God wants to purify you from the guilt and weight of this sin. Satan tries to make you believe you are unforgiveable. That just isn't true! Whether you gave a ride to the abortion center, or help orchestrate the transaction, or contributed financially. God wants you to repent to him and he will forgive you from it. However, there isn't any however! God is just that good. Tell him you were wrong, mis informed, misguided and need his forgiveness. Its Yours for the asking!
JESUS IS KING!
Great question! Thank you for asking.
